Dr Namrata Anavekar obtained her medical degree at Monash University, graduating with honours, before gaining a position on the plastic surgical training program in Victoria. Her training included rotations at St Vincent’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Alfred and The Austin, and she completed her training in 2012. She then undertook an overseas fellowship in Switzerland and France, focusing on maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery, rhinoplasty and aesthetic surgery, working alongside Professor Bernard Devauchelle and Professor Sylvie Testelin. Dr Anavekar is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), and has published research in plastic surgical journals as well as textbook chapters. Read more about Dr Anavekar.
