About Dr. Nam Anavekar
Dr. Namrata Anavekar is a qualified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She obtained her medical degree at Monash University and graduated with honors.
Dr. Anavekar then secured a position in Victoria’s plastic surgical training program, a position that has proven beneficial for her career.
During her surgical training, which included rotations through St. Vincent’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s, The Alfred, and The Austin, Dr. Anavekar gained extensive experience in the full spectrum of plastic surgical procedures. Upon completion of her training in 2012, Dr. Anavekar undertook an overseas fellowship in both Switzerland and France. The fellowship was directed at gaining further experience and a broader perspective in the fields of maxillofacial surgery, head and neck surgery, rhinoplasty, and aesthetic surgery.
During this time, she had the opportunity to work with internationally renowned surgeons, including Pr. Bernard Devauchelle and Pr. Sylvie Testelin, who were responsible for the first face transplant.

Evolve Evolve Plastic Surgery & Skin Clinic was established by Dr. Anavekar in 2018 as her main consulting rooms, based in Bulleen.
The entire team is committed to providing patients with the support and guidance they need throughout the process, from the initial consultation through to the final review appointment with Dr. Anavekar at the 6-month mark post-major surgery.
